The Derm - Glenview

I had an appointment at 1:30 After waiting for 45 minutes I requested if it’s possible for the doc to see me a little soon, as I had another appointment 30 mins away from this location. After asking twice the doc came to see me 1 hour 15 minutes post my appointment time. The doc came in with a long face , she didn’t care what my issue was .. she just gave the same medication she gave my husband the last time we visited. It has been a very unpleasant experience not only this time but every time we visit them. I don’t remember waiting for less than 45 minutes. And finally when the doctor sees you they are not even apologetic for being late.. with due respect, you are a dermatologist not a heart surgeon to be late every single time.. if ur so busy make sure to ask ur receptionist to schedule appointments accordingly!! The doctor will always suggest same medication I think to make sure we end up buying $100 worth products. I am never going back!

Very disappointed. The doctor spends a few minutes at most and mostly examines you from afar. When prescribed a topical medication, it took hours for it to get to the pharmacy after I was told it was being sent right away. When it did get to the pharmacy, insurance needed more information from the provider and that took days. No call or update from them in the mean time. At that same initial visit, I requested a cost estimate for a minor procedure and never heard back. When I asked again a few days before the procedure, they did not call me (again). I finally cancelled before the procedure and now need to wait another several weeks to reschedule with someone more reliable. No trust in the way this practice is administered. Will not go back ever.

Do NOT go here if you have an actual medical problem. Dr Brodsky was unpleasant and took no time on medical history or treatment options or side effects. At checkout time was forced to purchase their own branded products. Supposedly RX strength, but not a prescription so NO insurance coverage on them??? The tiny label on one literally says Not FDA approved. Will not be returning. They may be great for cosmetics but not for me.
